Biggest Loser Makeover Week!
May 7, 2010 No CommentsThis is one of the shows I look forward to the most in every Biggest Loser season. Sure, you see each contestant change week by week, but they’re still sweaty and in baggy workout clothes. Makeover Week gives us (and them) the opportunity to see how good they really “clean up” and celebrate the transformations they have made.
I thought they all looked absolutely wonderful, but my personal pick was Sunshine. Although she is not my favorite of the group, she definitely had it goin on. Too bad those curls aren’t so easy to keep tame. The soft look was very becoming on her.Ugh. Did I just say “becoming?” I must be a few decades over thirty. The most I’ve ever heard that word in my life was when I decided to cut my hair very short so I could look more professional in a sales position, and “becoming” was the word all the sweet old ladies used to describe me. Needless to say, my hair is long again.
Anyway, speaking of short hair, I was relieved to see that Michael and Daris decided to cut down the forest! Probably a few pounds lighter too. I think it makes their faces look slimmer.
So how ’bout the elimination. I’m sad to see Sam go. He and Koli have such great attitudes and their loyalty is admirable. Sam certainly has a lot to be proud of being the first and only person to reach goal weight while on the show!I was surprised to find out that Sam has been dating his fellow contestant, Stephanie Anderson. Somehow I missed that from before. In my opinion, she has more looks than personality, but who am I to judge? I just didn’t get attached to her in the least.
Michael has been one of my least favorites from the beginning, but I do think he deserves to stay. He has come a long way, but still has a road to travel, so glad he’s getting the opportunity to stay for one more week!
Are you planning your Biggest Loser Finale party? It’s coming up very soon. What will you serve? Last year I had a nice assortment of fruit (I had a pineapple centerpiece with fruit kabobs sticking out of the pineapple in all directions), pita chips with hummus dip, and cucumber sandwiches. Sure was a far cry from the array of goodies I normally offer when hosting social events. But hey – I want to be a Loser too!
Don’t miss the Biggest Loser Season 9 Finale on May 25!
